Kove Jewelry
FAQ
Are your products in stock?
No, our jewelry is not kept in stock. All pieces are made-to-order. Each item is manufactured specifically for you after you select your preferred configuration and place your order.
How does ordering work?
Browse our catalog, select a model you like, choose your configuration (gold color, stone type, size), add to cart, and complete checkout. You will receive an invoice via email for payment. Production begins after payment confirmation.
Can I choose the gold color and stones?
Yes, absolutely. When you select a product, you can choose from available options including gold color (white, yellow, rose), stone type, and size. This is one of the key advantages of our made-to-order model.
Do you create custom jewelry?
Yes, we create fully custom pieces based on your vision. Contact us at info@kove.jewelry to discuss your ideas and receive a personalized quote.
How long does production take?
Every Kove piece is made to order in up to 21 business days — often sooner — counted from the moment your payment clears, pavé and halo settings included. Insured delivery within the EU then takes 3–7 business days after dispatch. When the centre diamond you choose is already in our local stock, we have shipped finished pieces in as little as 10 business days — ask about rush availability when ordering. A fully custom design has a design stage first; you will be informed of its timeline when placing your order.
How does invoicing and payment work?
Orders are paid 100% in advance. Where the product page offers it, you can instead pay 30% now and 70% before dispatch — directly with us, no credit check. At checkout you choose one of the following methods: • Card payment — Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods Stripe offers in your country. After successful payment you receive a confirmation email and the order moves into production / dispatch immediately. Card details never reach our servers; everything is handled by Stripe. • Klarna (pay in 3) — offered at the card payment step where Klarna supports your country and the order amount. Klarna decides on approval. • Bank transfer — we send a proforma invoice by email with bank details and a unique payment reference. We have separate CZK and EUR accounts; the right one is picked automatically based on your order currency. For larger amounts, card payment and Klarna may not be available (on the product page: above €5,000 per payment); you then receive a proforma invoice for bank transfer. 30/70 option (made-to-order): the 30% deposit reserves your diamond and starts production; the remaining 70% is due before dispatch. Because each piece is made to order, the deposit is non-refundable. Whichever method you choose: • Made-to-order jewelry: production starts once we receive your payment (with the 30/70 option, the deposit). • Loose stones: your stone is reserved with our supplier and dispatched once payment arrives and availability is confirmed.
Where do you ship?
We ship to addresses within the EU and selected international destinations. Shipping is free of charge, insured and tracked. For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties or import taxes may apply; they are paid by the recipient unless stated otherwise for your country.
Can I return made-to-order jewelry?
Every Kove ring is made to order, uniquely for you — so, like most bespoke jewellers, a change-of-mind return or refund is not possible once your order is placed (this is also why §1837(d) of the Czech Civil Code exempts made-to-order goods from the 14-day withdrawal right). Instead, we build your protection into the process: • You confirm every detail before we begin, with a 48-hour window after ordering to change the specification free of charge — so the ring you receive is the one you approved. • If the size isn't right, we resize it once, free of charge, if you write to us within 60 days of delivery. Before sending anything, send us your order number, the measured size and three photos of the ring, and we confirm what your design allows: on most designs up to 2 EU sizes larger or smaller; on pavé models sizing down is limited. Please send the ring insured within 30 days of our confirmation. You cover shipping to us, we cover the insured return within the EU; outside the EU, shipping both ways and import charges are yours. If the ring is not the size you ordered, we fix it at our cost. Resizing is done exclusively through our partner ateliers — full details on the Returns page. • Every ring carries a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects, repaired free of charge. Damage from everyday wear and use — a prong or band bent or broken by a knock, a stone lost after an impact — is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered. • If anything is genuinely wrong with your piece, we make it right — by repair or remake. Your statutory rights for defective goods and warranty claims remain fully protected (24-month warranty under §2165 of the Czech Civil Code). Full details: kove.jewelry/returns.

How do I find a specific diamond — by ID, certificate number, carat, or millimeter size?
Type a stock ID (for example E67269CA9) or certificate number (for example LG768664912) into the search bar at the top of the site to jump directly to that stone. To browse, open the Natural or Lab-Grown listing and use the filter panel: by carat range for general browsing, or switch to "Search by size (mm)" if you are replacing a stone in a setting and need an exact dimension. The mm search runs a tolerance cascade — ±0.10 / 0.15 / 0.20 mm — so you always get the closest available match. A full guide is at /guides/stone-search-help.
Can I search for a diamond by exact millimeter size?
Yes. On the Natural or Lab-Grown listing, pick a single shape (Round, Oval, Cushion, etc.) and the filter panel shows a "Search by size (mm)" section with the real sizes we currently stock — round goes from 4.25 mm up to 13 mm in 0.25 mm steps, oval shows length×width pairs like 7×5 and 8×6. Tap any chip to add it to your search; tap again to remove. The system finds stones within ±0.10 mm first, then expands tolerance to ±0.15 and ±0.20 mm if needed. Cushion includes its modified and brilliant variants automatically. You can also type "5 mm" or "7x5" directly into the search bar at the top of the site. See /guides/stone-search-help for examples.
